We are happy to announce the newest addition to the team at the Filkins Group, Alex Gunnerson!
As the son and grandson of CPAs, Alex’s love and appreciation for the accounting profession is a lifelong affair. He joins the Filkins Group after 5 years of working for some of the largest and some of the smallest accounting firms in the world, having served clients of all shapes and sizes across a variety of industries.
At the Filkins Group, Alex specializes in preparing tax returns for private, closely-held businesses and their owners, and consulting on tax and accounting issues.
Alex received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in taxation from Brigham Young University and is a licensed CPA in Oregon and Washington.
Outside of work, Alex and his wife Lyndsey enjoy a life chalk-full of home projects, serving in their church, and growing together with their two precious children.
